Bulk Commercial Submissions

From EZLynx Submission Center™, you can manually submit to multiple carriers in a single step, eliminating the need to submit to each carrier one at a time. Easily compose your submissions by selecting carriers and their relevant lines of business, underwriters, and documents in a single step.

Where beneficial, you still have the option to individualize emails to the underwriters.

The new Bulk Submissions feature saves time, simplifies your commercial lines process, reduces errors from manual rekeying, and drives submission outcome consistency.

Copy Master Certificates

We’ve reimagined master certificate workflows by eliminating the need to create from scratch a new master certificate with each policy update. Instead, there are new streamlined, intelligent processes that leverage the information found in the existing master certificate.

When there are policy changes or when changes need to be made to the Master Remarks, a new Copy Master action allows you to duplicate the information on the existing Master Certificate. From there, you can update just the necessary information.

This new way of managing master certificates saves time, reduces errors, retains more context throughout the life cycle of master certificates, and helps your agency service insureds faster and more effectively.

Early Access to the New EZLynx Reporting

Exciting things are on the horizon for EZLynx® Reporting & Analytics! We’ve been investing in new technology and working to develop the next generation of reporting to meet the growing needs of our customers.

We unveiled these new capabilities to customers at Applied Net 2023, and we’re very pleased to announce that early access is now being provided to all agencies. During the early access period, both the old and new reporting modules will be available. You will not lose access to the reports you already count on today.

What does this mean for your agency?

Premium Financing Workflow Enhancements

The existing premium financing workflow, built into EZLynx Submission Center™, is now even easier to take advantage of for closing commercial lines business. We’ve streamlined the entry process, including the option to copy General Agency and Writing Company information across all lines of business.

When General Agency and Writing Company have been entered once, agents now have the option to prefill this information across all LOBs.

Sequenced Communication in Automation Center

When communication is well-orchestrated, recipients are more likely to engage and respond. For example, when you space out customer communication elements, you make them more digestible and actionable for the audience.

The steps in an EZLynx Automation Center™ workflow can now be scheduled to execute across timed intervals, instead of all at once. These sequenced communications will make your automated customer touchpoints even more valuable and successful.

This feature can also be used to automate reminders for agents to follow up when customers do not respond after a set period of time, ensuring better results and involving agents only when it is necessary.

For clarity, a visual flowchart displays the timing of the complete workflow sequence. Your staff will enjoy all the time-saving benefits of agency automation, now with even more control.

Automation Trigger for Checklists

With the new Checklist Completion trigger inside EZLynx Automation Center, you can automate actions like task assignments or consumer notifications upon the completion of a checklist. This is particularly useful when pieces of an overall process are assigned to different staff members.

Ensure important tasks happen without delay, saving your agency time, keeping you organized, and reducing your E&O exposure.

Prioritizing Business Classification for CL Applicants

Selecting the right NAICS when classifying a business can be the difference between getting a quote or being declined. Business classification lookup is now the first step in the Commercial Applicant creation process, so you can be confident you’ve selected the correct class. You’ll save time, have more accurate reporting, and improve your commercial submission outcomes.

This business classification is powered by Ask Kodiak.

Underwriting Workflow Enhancements for Alliance Partners

We continue to improve the underwriting messaging workflow alliance partners and their member agencies count on to be productive and efficient every day.

• Drag-and-drop functionality is included within the underwriting messaging workflow, making it much easier to organize and manage files.
• DL# and VIN# information entered on the underwriting request screen now sync back to the Auto application, eliminating the need for duplicate entry.
• The assigned underwriter is now a required field in the system, ensuring ownership throughout the entire request.

Policy Sync for Personal Package Policies

Policy Sync is now available for personal package policies. This is a long-time feature of EZLynx Management System, giving you the ability to update a rating application from current policy information at renewal time for fast requoting.

When remarketing auto and home lines of business, you can quickly cross-check and update information from the policy in force to the application, ensuring more reliable and accurate data. The same time savings you were already enjoying with Policy Sync for individual home and auto applications, you can now count on for personal package policies.

Agency Insights™ Integration with Automation Center

Agency Insights for EZLynx Sales Center automatically generates potential prospects from your quote data and book of business, giving you the information needed to recapture, win, and cross-sell opportunities before the X-Date.

With this release, as Agency Insights identifies leads, you can now leverage EZLynx Automation Center to contact the prospect and kick off the sales process. This eliminates manual steps and jumps on the opportunities faster.​

The integration of Agency Insights with Automation Center increases the number, velocity, quality and success of your cross-sell and upsell opportunities.​

Agency Branding Customization for Client Center

A strong, cohesive brand identity sets your agency apart in a crowded marketplace. Now, you can provide a more consistent branding experience between your agency’s website and customer portal.

With this update, you can customize EZLynx Client Center with brand elements like logos and preferred color themes. Additionally, agency-specific welcome messages will help you elevate and reinforce your value proposition with visitors. You can even include video links to further reflect your agency’s character.

Template Manager for Proposals and Summaries of Insurance

Proposals and Summaries of Insurance are documents you generate and distribute to clients in high volume. With a template manager, these documents can be customized (once) to reflect your branding and messaging, and then generated accurately and repeatedly (over and over).

A template manager greatly improves the efficiency and consistency of generating Proposals and Summaries of Insurance. You’ll also be confident these documents will correctly reflect your agency’s branding and messaging the same way every time.

EZLynx for Gmail

The EZLynx for Gmail add-on creates a bridge between EZLynx and your inbox. Emails are automatically matched to applicants or can be searched for and associated manually. From there, you can mark actionable items, add notes and reminders, and even manage tasks — all from within Gmail.

Email attachments can be easily uploaded and attached to the proper record in EZLynx. If the email has embedded images (e.g., a logo in an email signature), the add-on will automatically recognize those images as embedded and not import them. With email threads and attachments stored to the applicant's account, you’ll always have a current history of communication.

Underwriting Workflow Enhancements for Alliance Partners

With this release, we’ve simplified the underwriting messaging workflow, making it more straightforward to navigate. We’ve also added additional data fields, so that agents and underwriters alike will be better informed.

At the point of binding, we’ve expanded EZLynx underwriting messaging to support the addition of personal lines policies, outside of just those being quoted through EZLynx Rating Engine. Whether you are an Alliance Partner or a member agency, you can now enjoy the benefits of streamlined binding inside EZLynx, without being limited to just business that has been quoted through EZLynx Rating Engine.

Underwriters will be able to respond to agencies more quickly and effectively, and with more meaningful data, which means insureds will get their policies in force faster.

Insured Login to Client Center via Google Account

Your clients can now use their Google Account credentials to access your agency’s customer portal quickly and securely. This new Sign in with Google option for EZLynx Client Center uses the same login process that so many of your clients already know and trust.

Online customer self-service has never been easier!

Note: The Google account (email address) needs to be associated with the insured in EZLynx.

Direct Bill Payments in Client Center

Driving payment traffic is a great way to increase the value of your client portal with insureds.

Now you can provide direct carrier payment links in the EZLynx Client Center portal. This means insureds can make their policy payments on your agency’s customer portal rather than visiting the carrier directly.

With this update, EZLynx Client Center is now the one-stop shop for insureds to make payments, whether agency or direct bill.

Automate Google Reviews and Referrals

Google reviews and client referrals are key ingredients to growing your agency, but manually prompting your customers to make them is time-consuming.

To streamline the process, you can now use EZLynx Automation Center to automate requests for Google reviews and referrals. The automated workflow is set up to trigger following designated events, like new customers, additional policies, policy renewals, and more.

Positive Google reviews not only enhance your agency’s brand trust and awareness, but they can also boost your search results ranking.

Send PURLs by Text

Personal URLs, also known as PURLs, are a long-standing feature of EZLynx that your prospects and customers can click on to complete new applications or update renewal information.

Now, PURLs are even more convenient because they can be texted to customers or added to your agency’s email templates.

When clients and prospects use this convenient online method to provide insurance application information, it’s all saved directly to EZLynx for quick and easy quoting. PURLs are convenient for customers and free up your time to sell more business.

Personalize Email Templates with Policy Information

Automated emails are a huge time-saver for agents, and now they are even more valuable for the clients receiving them.

New personalization tag options let you include policy-level information in automated emails, including policy number, type, LOB, and effective and expiration dates.

This means emails have a more personal touch and provide pertinent policy details. These additional details make your communications more effective and give insureds materials they can reference later.

These four new policy-related personalization tags are the latest addition to the more than 50 options available to prefill information in emails sent from EZLynx dynamically.

New Producer and CSR Designations

To differentiate the sales and servicing responsibilities within your agency, we’ve revised the name of the Assigned To field to Assigned Producer and added a new CSR field.

The Assigned Producer label identifies the salesperson who originated the Applicant, while the CSR field identifies the person servicing the account.

Renaming the Assigned To field to Assigned Producer is simply a name change. Functionally this field still controls who owns the Applicant. This enhancement applies to all Applicant pages for personal and commercial lines business.

Alliance Partner Support for Tarmika

Agencies that access commercial lines markets through an Alliance Partner can now quote efficiently from the management system to Tarmika without rekeying and with complete visibility across the submission in EZLynx.

Seamless integration of Tarmika and EZLynx Submission Center means single-entry small commercial insurance quoting is part of your native commercial lines workflow. Create, track and organize quotes directly from your management system.

We’ve added Alliance Partner support for Tarmika, specifically:

• Identifying quotes submitted through a Market Access provider
• Supporting the Bind Request workflow to notify the provider to bind on behalf of the member agency

Additional Applied Pay Reconciliations in EZLynx Accounting

Building on the EZLynx Accounting integration, we’ve added account reconciliation of Applied Pay payment reversals and voided transactions. This ensures Applied Pay stays in balance with EZLynx while reducing the need for low-value back-office tasks.

Automated accounting reconciliation means you don’t have to manually process these transactions twice, once in the Applied Pay portal and then again in EZLynx Accounting.

Massachusetts RMV Carrier E-Stamp

Massachusetts agents are now fully empowered to serve their customers and meet state requirements relative to the RMV.

Over the past year, EZLynx has been working on completing its integration with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). Previous enhancements included access to the RMV database from inside EZLynx for integrated lookup of drivers, vehicles, incidents, and custom forms.

With E-Stamp support, you can now provide an electronic signature and insurance certification stamp for your customer’s Registration and Title applications, replacing traditional rubber ink stamps.

Proposal Templates for New Lines of Business

You can now generate Quote Proposals for additional lines of business, saving you time and helping you deliver more professionally consistent quotes when selling these lines of business.

We have added Quote Proposal templates for Pollution Liability, Vacant Property, Liquor Liability, Notary Bond, Title Bond, Commercial Bond, Small Farm and Ranch, and more!

Commercial Lines Rating with Tarmika

Since Applied Systems acquired Tarmika just a few short months ago, one of the top questions was “When will it be integrated with EZLynx?” We’re thrilled to announce Tarmika’s industry-leading, real-time commercial lines quoting platform is now integrated with EZLynx Submission Center!

Now, you can streamline the quoting process by quoting multiple lines of business with multiple carriers from a single-entry solution. When building your commercial submission, you’ll find Tarmika conveniently integrated with your familiar EZLynx workflow. Applied Pay: AR Reconciliation and Simpler Payment Collection

To save your staff time, payments taken through Applied Pay will automatically generate receipts in EZLynx Accounting to reflect the following scenarios:

• Invoice Payments

• One Time or Flat Amount Payments

We've also simplified the process for agents to collect payments from their insureds, especially when taking payments over the phone.

We’re pleased to announce that SPLICE is the latest third-party integration available from the EZLynx Connect platform. SPLICE’s automated communication solutions provide a quick and easy way to keep your customers informed through automated texts, calls, or emails. These communications will be tied directly into your automation workflows, so you can set it up once and trust it while providing a great customer experience and saving time for your agents.

This marks the first case of EZLynx Automation Center calling out to a third-party integration to execute an automated workflow.
